What’s warmer to use as a liner? The wool you show here or their pirmaloft reversible liner? I have 2 waxed jackets from filson, the rain coat and short line cruiser but want the warmest liner I can get. Which is warmer, I’m cold natured so I don’t get “hot” easy

Filson is second to none.

Real wool is too itchy. Also when it is washed it loses its shape and shrinks.

Bought one from the PX when I was stationed in Greece in the late 60s. Still have it. Payed $25 for it.

15 " x 12" x 4" is the actual size.

Blue Loctite is usually used on these screws. Using a soldering iron or wood burning tool against the tip of the screw heat up the screw without burning the leather or yourself and unscrew the screw. There is also a screw tool sold that allows you to clamp the the screw while unscrewing it sold on Amazon.

When we got our blanket there were very few queen sized beds on the market and no king sized back in the very early 70's. Our blanket is in mint condition. Link does not work for me.

My Mackinaw vest looks just as good as it did when I bought it 20 years ago. Maybe better as it has gotten a little softer. And I can wear it pounding nails all day and dress it up with a tweed sport coat. One of my favorite and most used pieces of clothing. The vest.

can you wear something like this as a liner with a jacket that doesn't have a zipper lining option? Just with the buttons if you sewed on buttons or something onto the jacket.
